Paul defended his ministry as being one of waging war to destroy arguments raised against Christ and to take every thought captive to obey Christ. In the same way we are to wage war for souls through bringing them not to morality, or some empty philosophy, but to Christ, for in the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation.
