If there’s anything that we need to get a firm grasp on as Christians, it’s the reality that we can do absolutely nothing apart from Jesus Christ. One reason we don’t believe this is that we’re not desperate for Christ’s help. And we won’t be desperate for His help until we truly realize how helpless we are in and of ourselves.
