If you’ve already been saved by this Gospel, you need to live today and tomorrow and the rest of your life on it. We are to “feed” day by day on justification with God through the righteousness of Christ alone.
The Cross means you are bad enough to go to hell and you needed something supplied outside of your efforts to make a way to heaven, and that is offensive to self-righteous man and to his pride.

True salvation changes the way you act when nobody is watching because you know that God is watching.
The book of Hebrews does not give changing your circumstances as being the solution for your problems, instead you are called to look to Jesus and run the course that God has set before you.
