The believer lives by faith, often facing situations like Israel did when they first spied out the Promised Land. Remember, the spies returned with reports of fortified cities and giants, which filled many with fear. Yet, Joshua and Caleb stood firm, trusting in God’s promise despite overwhelming opposition. In the same way, we are confronted with challenges that test the strength of our faith. Do we trust God’s word and move forward with confidence, like Joshua and Caleb, or do we waver and crumble when the obstacles appear too great? The question is: do we have a faith that stands firm in the face of daunting circumstances, or one that collapses when adversity strikes?
