In Christ we won’t perish, rather we will be changed, and be raised imperishable. The day of our death, though sad, will be swallowed up in the reality of this victory we have as believers. We have this victory “through our Lord Jesus Christ”, who was already raised as the first scene of the act. In view of this, we should let nothing move us from abounding in being in danger every hour for Christ, and for the Gospel, that others might be saved because we ourselves truly know that our beatings and labor is not in vain.
